Gold Label 60-40 (Pebble Mix)

This ready mixed blend of Gold Label Hydrocorn and Coco is an ideal medium for high water capacity, lower watering frequency and better rooting. It has a ratio of 60% clay pebbles to 40% coco. 

Firstly, we would recommend to pre-treat the medium with a calmag, nutrient mix. This will help the plant stay green from get go and stop any early yellowing of the plant. 

The media needs a flush to saturate the pebbles, start with a lower pH of 5.3 to 5.6 to balance the substrate, slowly increase the pH to 6.3. 

The most common uses are for this 60/40 is a flood drain system like an IWS, Autopots and fabric pots like Root Pouches, which can be either hand watered or used with a high pressure dripper system or run to anywhere systems (RTA) like the Medusa.
